Last year I planned to visit France. When you speak of France instantly you picture the Eiffel Tower or the paintings and art sculpture of famous artists like Picasso and Van Gogh. But when you are visiting this magnificent country, the question is what you should not do, as France offers a lot of amazing sights.
My trip was a little strange, I had stacked up a few miles for my trip to France, but they were not enough so I had to purchase air France miles to cover up the shortage in order to get a free ticket. Surprisingly the miles I purchased were extremely reasonable and saved me a lot of money which I used in shopping and sightseeing in France.
Here is a list of places I went to and I would like to share my experience about them with you.
The first place to hit on my list was the Eiffel Tower. You will find it interesting that the Eiffel Tower was once considered as a monstrosity by the ancient artists, but now it is regarded as one of the finest pieces of art in Paris and all around the globe. Inside the Eiffel Tower you can get souvenirs and postcards with the Eiffel Tower emblem and have your meal at the finest restaurants present there.
Inside the borders of the French Riviera you will find the famous and mesmerizing tourist destinations Cannes, St. Tropez and Nice. The beaches of this place are perfect for young couples or a romantic getaway as they have breathtaking views. The scene on these beaches also gets wild when the parties start happening in the evening time.
The Louvre is the most famous art gallery in France and even around the globe. It has paintings of the most talented and great artists of the world like the famous Leonardo DA Vinci. His most famous piece of art Mona Lisa is still the best attraction and is present in the Louvre. So that secret smile of hers is a must to see.
I was surprised to know that Paris also has a Disneyland. I love joy lands and Disneyland was one thing I didn’t want to miss it has all the featured rides, firework displays, parades and all the famous theme parks which are present in the official Disneyland. But yes, it is not the exact replica, but has some unique France essence in it.
The most famous place in France in terms of history is Normandy. This place has seen too many wars and has fought several of the battles in France. The most famous incident this place has ever seen is the burning of “Joan Of Arc”, in 1431.
France is not only famous for its top locations but is also recognized worldwide for its wine. I went to the Rhone Valley and enjoyed the beautiful vineyards present there. I even got indulged in wine tasting and joined in grape harvesting. It was truly a French experience for me.
Traveling to France was a unique experience and thanks to the purchase air France miles miles I could save money on my ticket and consume it in other places.
